Victoria Coleman

Victoria’s work explores new paradigms of beauty, inspired by both modern industrial design and the magic of nature. Her decorative and functional collection is characterised by aesthetics that have a strong philosophical narrative and highly emotional content. Fascinated with combining contrasting fluid forms with geometric lines, and exploring balance and shadow, the design that she strives to create is both deliberately architectural and gently organic. Since completing a degree at UCA in Rochester, a Postgraduate course at Bishopsland Educational Trust in South Oxfordshire and a successful period as an Artist in Residence at Glasgow School of Art, Victoria has been developing her hand-crafted collection of silverware from her own London workshop space.
