Educational Programme
Now in its second year, the directors of British Silver Week have
launched
a Corporate Educational Programme for aspiring young
silversmiths. |

Leading silversmiths and companies are giving their time
and facilities
free to teach craft skills. There is also a business
education programme of short courses for young silversmiths in
their first three years of business. Sponsorship monies are being
used by British Silver Week to cover
expenses incurred in running
these courses including fares, subsistence, hotel accommodation,
room and equipment hire, tools and materials for the students. |

| Sponsorship prizes and grants have been designed to raise the
professionalism, skills and awareness of business issues among
young entrepreneurial silversmiths. |
