| Someone once said that "art is not a form of communication but a vehicle
for sharing experience between artist and viewer". My work is rich with layers
of artistic expression capable of unlocking repressed or forgotten levels of
memory in individuals. For this to happen requires that the individual must
be willing to pause long enough not only to look, but also to feel the
meaning of my work. |

Susan Beale is fascinated with life, its secrets, and its way of harmony and
balance. This intrigue is shown in her work through the cyclical patterns in
her candelabras, vessels and jewellery.
Susan commenced her business as a designer-silversmith in November 1999
having gained her BA(hons) in this subject. Her business continues to grow
as she enters her 10th year. |
