| My silversmithing and jewellery is created primarily using silver and often
incorporates gold details. It has the subtle tones of a floral influence inspired
by plant forms. Using worn hammers I apply textures drawn from nature to
sheet metal before constructing forms through either scoring and folding, or
hand-raising techniques. These are then connected or clustered together to
create the piece. The organic lines combined with the matt finish of the
silver create a contemporary style. |
