Trained at the Royal College of Art, Anthony Elson enjoys researching a
project in order to create something that is both personal and unique to
the client. His knowledge and experience of the various silversmithing
techniques enables him to choose those which are most suitable for each
brief, thus avoiding stylistic repetition.
He is currently experimenting with patination - that is oxidising the surface
of silver with various chemicals to produce colours that are both sympathetic
to the material and which help to emphasise the form of the piece. |
