Elizabeth’s work is strongly influenced by the human form, not simply the body itself, but its emotions and movements. “The human form and its playful manifestations are what I seek to express in the curves, bulges, folds and undulations of my pieces”. Her current work explores functional silverware that reflects serious intent together with a certain playfulness. “I believe that a functional piece should also hold a presence and aura of its own”. |
